My story

I know because I lived it.

After my emergency C-section with my son Ares in 2014 — a uterine rupture after 30 hours of labour — I felt like I had failed at birth. I hid my body under baggy black shirts. I avoided mirrors. I avoided intimacy. I had 15 years of clinical experience as a massage therapist and I still had no idea how to help myself.

At 20 months postpartum I sneezed on the leg press at the gym and leaked. After doing everything "right." I went to pelvic floor physio. I researched constantly. And I still didn't know what I was missing.

What I discovered: most C-section recovery advice is missing the three pieces that actually matter — healing your birth experience, reversing pelvic floor dysfunction, and releasing scar tissue. Without all three, you stay stuck.
